Osnat Nemetz recently completed her law degree at Osgoode Hall Law School. Originally from New York, she received a Bachelor’s of Arts cum laude in Economics and English Literature from Yeshiva University. Osnat previously worked as a summer student at TaxChambers LLP.
Osnat was selected to join the Pro Bono Students Canada Tax Advocacy Project, where she represented clients through the tax appeals process. Osnat favourably settled cases outside of court and successfully argued before the Tax Court of Canada.
At Osgoode, Osnat worked as a student caseworker at the Parkdale Community Legal Services Clinic, SAVAH division, where she represented clients before the Social Benefits Tribunal Board. Osnat also acted as treasurer for the Osgoode Women’s Network, holding that position for two years.
